This Privacy Statement explains how your personal information is collected, used and protected when you use the Product and Services (“Mileage Trakker”). In this Statement, the use of “we” and “our” refer to Mileage Trakker, owners and operators of Mileage Trakker, and its contracted vendors.
Information We Collect: When you sign up to use Mileage Trakker, we will ask you to provide your first name, last name, business names, physical addresses, email address, vehicle identification number (“VIN”), and current vehicle odometer readings. We may ask you to submit your mobile phone number to contact you incase of emergencies or product feedback.
By using Mileage Trakker you are expressly agreeing, that we have the right to collect your GPS location to obtain vehicle locations, trip mileage and other relevant information.
We also collect aggregated non-personal information from your and others’ use of Mileage Trakker. This assists us in improving the application and our service to you.
How We Use the Personal Information We Collect: Your personal information is used to validate and service your Mileage Trakker account to help us optimize and improve our service to you.
Information We Share: We will only share your detailed personal information to third party providers with your consent, unless otherwise mandated for legal purposes. We may share aggregated non-personal information with third parties for research and marketing purposes. Certain services offered through the Application may allow you to adjust your privacy settings; please review any information area that accompanies such application for more details and instructions.
Protecting Your Information: We use physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect your personal information. We require our employees to keep personal information confidential. Access to such information is provided only to those employees or contracted vendors who need personal information to perform their duties. In the event of a transfer of ownership of the Mileage Trakker you would be notified and your data would be transferred to the new owner. At that point you would be able to continue service with the new owners or terminate your service at the end of your existing contract.
Mileage Trakker may also use or disclose your personal information in the following circumstances:
Whenever reasonably possible, when Mileage Trakker discloses your personal information to third parties, it will request that such third parties maintain the confidentiality of such information (for example through the execution of a non-disclosure or confidentiality agreement).
Mileage Trakker will endeavor to keep your personal information accurate and up-to-date for the stated purposes, and to retain it only for as long as needed to fulfill these purposes, and as may be required by law.
Mileage Trakker collects, uses, discloses and retains your personal information for the following purposes:
No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
As well, users should be aware that certain non-personal information and data may be automatically collected by Mileage Trakker through the operation of “cookies”. Cookies are small text files that identify an individual computer’s browser entering a web site.
They allow the site to track that browser’s movement through the site over several sessions.
Through cookies, a web site can recognize repeat users, facilitate the user’s access to and use of the site, and allow a site to track usage behavior to improve the user’s online experience by delivering content specific to their interests.
Mileage Trakker uses cookies only for the above-mentioned purposes and will not use them to identify users or to track non-Mileage Trakker usage. Users, by configuring their browser preferences, have the choice to accept, reject, or be notified when a cookie is set.
Our sites may contain links to other sites for your convenience. These third-party sites may also request personal information from you.
This Privacy Policy Statement does not cover these third-party sites and Mileage Trakker is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of such web sites. Use of these sites is at your own risk.

It is our intention that the Mileage Trakker web sites be used by adults. Children should always ask their parents or guardians for permission before sending personal information to Mileage Trakker or to anyone else. We encourage parents to take an active role in their children’s use of the Internet. No information should be submitted to, or posted by visitors under 16 years of age without the consent of their parent or guardian and Mileage Trakker will not knowingly send direct mailings, including email or other correspondence to anyone under the age of 16.
Our sites have security measures in place intended to protect the loss, misuse and alteration of the information under our control.
We also take reasonable precautions to protect user information offline. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, sending out a newsletter) are given access to personally identifiable information.
Servers on which we store personally identifiable information are kept in a secure environment and monitored 24 hours a day. However, Mileage Trakker cannot guaranty your privacy nor can we ensure that third parties do not unlawfully intercept or access transmissions or private communications. Mileage Trakker will not be liable to you or anyone else for any claims, loss, damages or costs which may result from a lack of privacy experienced.
This Privacy Policy Statement co-exists with our Terms of Use. Together these govern the general practices of Mileage Trakker and our web sites. We encourage you to familiarize yourself with this policy.

Important Information
Mileage Trakker is an OBD II device and reporting system owned and operated by Trakker Services Inc and Trakker Services Canada, Inc. Mileage Trakker has contracted with other vendors to provide access to parts of this product and service.
Our OBD II device is cellular based. Occasionally, we might not be able to connect with the device based on cellular service availability. When we are not able to connect with the device, we will not be able to track the mileage you drive.
Mileage Trakker and its contracted vendors do make any guarantees – express or implied – that government entities will accept the mileage tracked and calculated with this product and reporting system for tax purposes.
You will need to tag your trips business or personal and, to keep an accurate mileage log, detail the purpose of the trip as well. Mileage Trakker cannot verify the accuracy of your tagging or the purpose of your trips. We can only establish the actual destination of the vehicle.
Information entered through this application will be shared and handled in accordance with Mileage Trakker Privacy Policy.
You agree that you will not use this product or its services unless and until you have read and agreed to the terms of the End User License Agreement.
